Bits&Chips strengthens the high tech ecosystem in the Netherlands and Belgium and makes it healthier by supplying independent knowledge and information. 
Bits&Chips focuses on news and trends in the high-tech industry. Our coverage revolves around the influence of technology. Frequent and recurring themes are: semicon, software engineering, system architecture, Internet of Things, RF technology and career development.

Our media platform includes a website, newsletter (issues once per week) and an online magazine, which issues 8 times a year.  As a full-service media platform, we offer content servicesorganize (online) events (and offer them as a service) and we create and host webinars, podcasts and videos.

The standard rates are based on full-color placement on the left-hand page with editorial on the right-hand page. Advertisements of half a page and smaller can be combined with other advertisements on the same page. Design and writing service on request.

Advertisement vs. advertorial


Advertisement
 – An advertisement is a (mostly visual) post in the magazine to promote or sell eg a brand, a product, an event or a job vacancy.

Advertorial – An advertorial is an advertisement written as an article. An advertorial may consist of commercial content, as opposed to an article in Bits&Chips, which needs to be written in accordance with our editorial guidelines. An advertorial is marked as “advertorial” in the magazine.

Material should be sent two weeks prior to publication to sales@techwatch.nl. For the exact dates, please check the publication dates and theme list.

Advertorials
The minimum font size is 8 points. Please put “advertorial” on top of the page.

Inserts
Inserts should be sent 1.5 weeks prior to publication to Van Elst. The boxes containing the inserts need to be clearly specified as “inserts Bits&Chips” and the number of the edition.
