Beschrijving

You are involved in all phases of the development of products; specification, design, implementation, integration, verification and validation. Your work takes places in a multidisciplinary environment and therefore you are able to think and contribute beyond the boundaries of your discipline. Moreover, you are able to demonstrate technical leadership.

- Printer Driver Team
The printer driver is the most important interaction that many of our users have with our high-end systems. Therefore, we see it as essential that the printer driver reflects our company strengths. An attractive, intuitive user interface, a design that is oriented around productivity and a predictable workflow so it is never a surprise what comes out of the printer. Combined with the fact that printers are getting more complex every year with many output options that cannot occur in every combination, one can imagine the challenges of the Driver Team.

- Print Controller Team
The Print Controller translates the user domain that is about documents and print jobs to the technical domain of the print engine that is about bitmaps, paper trays and finishing actions. Amongst the many challenges incorporated in this is the security aspect: almost every electronic document gets printed at least once in its lifetime. If you only imagine how much information is comprised in the documents handled by the Print Controller, it is immediately clear how important the security of the Print Controller is. For us it is essential that our customers can trust our products. Therefore we are continuously working on safeguarding the data confidentiality and the integrity of our Print Controller.

Profile

• MSc, PhD or PDEng degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or other technical subjects with a proven affinity with Computer Science
• You are familiar with Object Oriented Design concepts and methods; experience in C++ is recommended
• Affinity with developing products for customers
• Pro-active and communicative; you like working in a team.
• You have the ambition to grow in a technical or managerial direction
